"Now this was a power breakfast, with big picture, industry wide thinking. Conversations on managing high profile issues, navigating complex problems, building campaigns and changing behaviours - supported by compelling high level narrative." Clare Parsons, Lansons Co-Founder.
It was great to be invited to the #lansonsalumni breakfast yesterday, thank you Clare Parsons and team for making the magic happen and continuing to bring people together across our industry. With many of us clocking over 20 plus years of experience we had many stories to share and could have made an entire day of it! Alumni networks have never been more critical with actual face-to-face conversations and swapping of notes from the past 20 plus years from both an in-house, agency side and independent perspective. In an era of so much transformation, sharing knowledge and real-time lived experiences has never been so important for ensuring clients continue to get the right advice in shaping their futures and operations with certainty, clarity and confidence. Powerful partnerships, sharp minds, and intelligent knowledge is critical for our industry in creating shared value creation for everyone. I am very much looking forward to the next one and continuing to work in collaboration with everyone across the spectrum of the industry and advisory network. Hats off to Lansons | Team Farner for honouring their entire alumni network regardless of length of tenure at Lansons, time spent or current role in the industry. That’s flexing the real power of an alumni network with authentic action while creating a quietly powerful force shaping conversations that matter. Stepping outside of echo chambers will be something I continue to champion and advocate for! For anyone wishing to meet for a face-to-face conversation in or about our industry, formally or informally, please never hesitate to get in touch. Together is Better! Delighted to be able to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of Brand Equity Asset Management Ltd, known as Brand Equity Group. Brand Equity Group has stayed operational and upright through:
LinkedIn is about broadcasting; the new model is about belonging. Have we gone full circle?
It is not just individuals that crave context and community, businesses and brands do too. At Brand Equity Group we do things a little differently, on purpose. We don't differentiate by industry or even public, private, third or even fourth sectors. We differentiate by behaviour. This enables us to bring deep cross-sector expertise and real-life perspective. A breadth of knowledge with strategic and tactical hands-on experience that is hard to beat. We are agile, bespoke and always evolving. If you want to be in good company, you'll have to be brave. We don’t just work with anyone. Only those who dare to be different. Brand Equity Group is delighted to be consulting with Fair Game UK, the UK's leading think thank, who have just announced the first keynote speaker for The Fair Game Conference '25, Building a Fairer Future for Football: Kelly Simmons OBE.
Fair Game believe that football can be a force for good and work with like-minded individuals and organisations to research and develop solutions to the problems the football industry faces. Fair Game is a thriving organisation bringing clubs, supporters, and charities together to build a better future for the game. Fair Game wish to see Football governed with fairness, openness and transparency at its core; honouring the mantra that the game can be a force for good and putting clubs at the heart of the communities they serve. Thank you to Brunswick Group for creating the ever-growing alumni network #Brunswickgroupalumni.
It is always great to reconned with former colleagues and swap notes. Brunswick is very well known as the world's leading critical issues advisory firm and my career took off with a bang fresh out of university here and it hasn’t slowed down since. I gained major professional experience at Brunswick. Working on campaigns of all shapes and sizes, including significant crisis management firsts such as the Grand National animal welfare crisis, the restructuring of the Jockey Club, and, in particular, my six-month secondment in-house at British Airways managing the T5 application, the BA/AA proposed merger, the Concorde crisis, and, last but certainly not least, the 9/11 global crisis that changed the world. Brunswick provided a solid foundation for Brand Equity Group to transcend borders and business issues helping brands build, scale and survive. It was a real honour to meet with Geeta Sidhu-Robb. Not only a five-time winner of the Entrepreneur and Businesswoman of the Year award, founder of Nosh Detox, and CEO of WCORP, but also on a mission to transform the way we do business globally.
Geeta is committed to changing the way we work, drawing on her experience coaching high-performing women in multinational organisations and high-profile household names. When great minds unite and can laugh at one another and with one another, you know it is the start of a lasting relationship. In the tug-of-war over working from home, Silicon Valley hopes to outmanoeuvre Wall Street and win the best talent on earth. And they plan to do it by offering them unprecedented flexibility to work remotely.
Business software giant Salesforce revealed more than 90% of its staff want to decide for themselves when and where they work. According to co-CEO Bret Taylor, companies will need to oblige regardless if they are a New York investment bank or a tech company based in San Francisco like itself. “One thing that has changed for us and many other companies is that we no longer list vacancies by city but rather time zones,” he told Germany’s Welt am Sonntag, a weekly newspaper published on Sunday. “The pandemic has taught us that it doesn’t matter in which city you live. Only the time zone is important in order to communicate and work together in this world.” Broadening the job position to include candidates not just from a specific metropolitan region but across an entire time zone dramatically increases the total pool of talent that potentially could be tapped. https://fortune.com/2022/05/09/silicon-valley-salesforce-wall-street-recruiting-hiring-talent-employees/ Brand Equity Group is delighted to announce a collaboration with The Sponsorship Experts, an independent marketing and sponsorship consultancy based in Bangkok that specialises in commercial sponsorship and partnership marketing for a number of the world’s leading brands, agencies and cultural organisations across Southeast Asia.

Coming from big brand, agency and consultancy backgrounds, and prior to launching The Sponsorship Experts, Paul has worked with the likes of Wrangler, Levi Strauss & Co., Polo Ralph Lauren, Diesel, Coca-Cola and Cadbury, and has also held board positions at Edelman and Cohn & Wolfe.
